Why we built a CMS Finder tool

We recently rebuilt the Represent website, and needed to decide which CMS was best suited to the project. Luckily, we have a team of developers and advisors who are experts in navigating this question. However I was reminded of a previous experience selecting a CMS, and remembered it’s not always so easy.

Daisy here, Head of Partnerships at Represent, and past Represent client. 3 years ago, I was managing a website rebuild project and the process of deciding on our CMS entailed months of back and forth, countless meetings, and various unsuitable CMS options. We finally decided on Sanity CMS and then found Represent, who became our agency.

The whole process drained our teams time, and was frankly quite unenjoyable. And so, this was my inspiration for the tool. I hope it can be of some help.
